Sudan offers access to the red sea, with most diving being done from live aboard boats. The continued political problems experienced by Sudan has kept many dive travellers from diving in Sudan. Those that do pursue the more complex paper work and dive through sudan are rewarded for their efforts by being able to explore remains of the Conshelf II experiment of Jacque Costeaus. They also get to experience the part of the red sea that inspired the creation of the films World without Sun, The Silent World, and Adventures in the Red Sea. Diving available also includes prestine reefs, walls, and wreck diving.
