Saba island east of Puerto Rico is part of the Netherland Antillies and is not your typical carribean island.
It is a volcanic rock island rising to 1000 meters above sea level with steep cliffs and drop offs. Underwater
is similar topography with large pinnacles and steep drop offs. Active protection of its reefs and deep
nurtient providing waters have kept saba reefs in prestine condition.
