The small country of Belize lies south of the yucatan peninsula on the caribbean sea side of the central american coastline. Belize is a true delight for divers, offering access the the worlds second largest barrier reef (which runs the full length of belize), plus diving on three of the four atolls of the caribbean region. The three atolls include Light House Reef, Turneff atoll and Glovers Reef. Belize also has plenty of other attractions, including Maya ruins, vast flower, orchid, tree species and animial wildlife(including the last refuge of the jaguar) that is protected in its huge national parks. One third of the entire country is protected environment. Also don't miss the blue hole situated on Light House Reef.
