The Banded Nardoa Seastar (Nardoa spB) appears to be undescribed echinoderm species that belongs to the seastar family Ophidiasteridae and is a member of the genus Nardoa. This species was found on a silty bottom coral reef at a depth of 15 metres and is brown in colour with many large nodules covering the surface. It was found in the waters of Vietnam however it probably occurs in other regions of the western Pacific. The Nardoa Seastar (Nardoa spB) has a maximum arm width of at least 8cm.
