The Pink Lined Coris (Coris dorsomacula) a long elongate fish species from the Labridae family which includes all wrasse species. This fish species has a widespread distribution throughout the tropical western Pacific Ocean. It is known to occur from Japan to the east coast of Australia and east to New Caledonia and Tonga. The juveniles are pale red-brown in colour whilst the adult males are more colourful with pink lines running the length of the green coloured body. The pink line extends through the eye. This species can be found on rocky reefs from depths of 8 to 40 metres. The Pink Lined Coris (Coris dorsomacula) grows to a maximum length of approximately 22cm.
