The Orange Spotted Gymnodoris (Gymnodoris alba) is a small tropical nudibranch species that belongs to the family Gymnodorididae. It is not considered to be a common species and is known to occur in China, Indonesia, Africa, Japan, Philippines, Hawaii and Australia. In Australia it has been recorded from NSW, WA, VIC, NT, SA and QLD. This species can be recognised by its white mantle that is covered in small orange spots. The rhinophores and gills of this animal are generally translucent white however orange rhinophores have been recorded in some individuals. This species is known to feed on other opisthobranch species. The Orange Spotted Gymnodoris (Gymnodoris alba) grows to a maximum length of approximately 5cm.
