The Australian Pineapple Fish (Cleidopus gloriamaris) is a very unusual fish that likes to live under ledges and in caves. They can often be found in small groups together and they will often be found inhabiting the same location over a long period of time. They are very popular with scuba divers and are a tricky species to photograph as they are shy and generally hide at the back of the ledge in the dark areas. They grow to approximately 20cm in length. At night they have a luminescent light organ in their mouth which they use to attract their prey for feeding.
