The Clown Anemonefish (Amphiprion percula) is a very small colourful fish that is always found living in its host anemone. They are offered referred to as Clown fish but it is correct to refer tho this species as an anemone fish. They are found throughout the indo pacific region and are common the Great Barrier Reef where they can be found in two species of anemones (Stichodactyla gigantae and Heteractis magnifica). They are distinctively marked as they are orange colour with three white bars that are edged with black and they have black margins on there fins. They are now also known as "Nemo" fish after the success of the movie “Finding Nemo”. They grow to a maximum size of approximately 8cm.
