Truncate Coralfish


The Truncate Coralfish (Chelmonops truncates) is also referred to as the Eastern Talma. This fish can be found along the entire coast of NSW - Australia and can be found on deep coastal reefs, around inshore headlands and rocky estuaries. Adults can generally b found in pairs. The maximum size of the Truncate Coralfish is approximately 22 cm. This fish can be found searching through sponge gardens looking for food.
