The White-lined Cratena (Cratena lineatai) is a very small aeolid nudibranch that belongs to the Facelinidae family. It is found through out the tropical waters of the Indo-west Pacific Oceans and has a widespread distribution around Australia. It occurs in the coastal waters of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. It has a long and slender body which is generally a translucent cream or brown colour. It has irregular thin white stripes that run along the length of the body. At the base of the white coloured rhinophores there is a red colouration and the oral tentacles are also white. The White-lined Cratena (Cratena lineatai) grows to a maximum length of approximately 1.5 cm.
